In-Studio Engraving
With custom freehand engraving, your items will be permanently personalized for a lasting impression, unlike the shorter lifespans of paint and vinyl applications.
Freehand engraving is very versatile and allows for engraving on a wider variety of items with more placement options than laser engraving equipment can do.

Custom Freehand Engraving
My work is done using a specialized engraving drill, diamond-tipped burs, and color inlay, all partnered with my knowledge of calligraphy and design.
I offer personalization and engraving services for keepsakes of all kinds: corporate gifting, housewarming gifts, bridal party gifts, wedding favors, birthday presents, and more. See the list at the bottom of the page for popular items that can be engraved.
Guidelines & Rates for In-Studio Engraving
- I’m happy to engrave on items you provide, contact me to make sure it is something I can do, and see the list below for ideas.
- Because my engraving is all done by hand, I do refer out some projects that are better suited for laser engraving.
- See my online shop for perfume/cologne engraving, wine/liquor engraving, lipstick engraving, and mirror compacts engraving.
- Individual gifts/unique commissions: $65 minimum order; price varies depending on item quantity, content length, complexity, and design.
- For bulk orders of 20+ quantities, contact me for a custom quote.
- For Engraved Wine/Liquor Bottles, I can only offer this service from my Rochester, NY location due to shipping regulations.
- Please note: pressurized bottles cannot be engraved due to the risk of the bottle exploding. For pressurized bottles like champagne, sparkling cider, sparkling wine, I offer writing with permanent paint for a safer option that still allows for beautiful personalization.
- Special rates apply for any bottle over $100 retail value, and/or bottles larger than 750ml.
- Woodburning, leather debossing, heat foiling: $65 minimum
